A worker from Encore Bath and Shower arrived and started tearing out the old tub after laying walking cloths to make a path in and out of the house. He was friendly but focused on his work. 1.) Tore out all the tiled walls & flooring in the 6'x3' shower and installed an Onyx wall surround and flooring and adjusted the floor drain. 2.) Replaced a 33"x15" window. 3.) Tore out & replaced an 84"x31" wall which was the source of the leak causing this "redo". 4.) Installed a vinyl plank floor. 5.) Replaced the lavatory sink bowl with one that matched the Onyx wall surround. 6.) Due to some delays, the shower doors were the last items to be installed. - Johnny worked hard tearing all the tile out of the shower and carrying all that debris up 13 stairs from the lower level. "I go to the Rumours hair salon that is next to your building and noticed a sign so I stopped in to ask about getting an estimate to replace our 42 year old master bath shower. When I mentioned that you were going to do our work to a friend, Jean Ervin, she told me you had done work for her and that she was always pleased with your efforts and felt sure we'd be pleased with the results.
Removed old harvest gold fiberglass shower enclosure and replaced it with all white walls and glass shower doors. Also installed grab bars, shower seat, and new shower head, faucet and drain.
Even though the weather was rainy and cold and we live quite a ways out of town, the men arrived on time and did an excellent job from start to finish. They put drop cloths from the back door all the way to the far end of the house and cleaned up the area every day when they were done. It took a longer to break up the old shower floor but they managed to get it all out, then put reinforcing blocks where the grab bars would be and replumbed the shower head and faucet and relocated a new drain in the middle of the floor. A nice teak wood folding seat was also installed and we find it to be very useful and convenient but easily folded out of the way when not in use. So far the walls and doors are very easy to keep clean, although we find it necessary to use a removable bath mat because the non-slip floor is still noticeably slick when wet and soapy. The installers were VERY hardworking and knowledgeable and kept us informed of each step, including decisions on where each piece of hardware would be most conveniently placed. Thanks to both friendly installers named John and to Michael for helping us through the whole process. We would definitely recommend Encore to anyone interested in a bathroom remodel." 04.23.2022

" We needed to replace our one piece whirlpool bathtub and we wanted a walk in shower with a new sink basin and faucets in our master bath. Upon researching bathroom remodelers on the internet, we came across an article in the Riverbender.com commemorating Encore Bath and Remodeling with the opening of their new showroom. We visited the showroom and met Mike. It wasn't long after talking to Mike that we knew he was very knowledgeable in the latest trends and styles. Mike was very accommodating, professional, and patient, giving us great ideas and suggestions. He kept us updated on progress of delivery and scheduling. One issue was the shower panels we liked had been superseded by the factory, and Mike made sure we were aware of this and would like the change. The workers showed up on time each day and placed floor covering over the traveling and work area. They cleaned up each evening. They were very courteous and skilled in their craft. Within three days the old tub and vanities were removed and we had a complete new beautiful shower with handrails, shelves, clear shower door, and a low profile solid shower base. We had two LED lights added to the shower and it looks fantastic. In addition, the sink basins were replaced and the fixtures all trimmed in brushed bronze to match the shower trim.
